The one photographed is made from Australian ironbark previously from fence post in Sydney, once cleaned up it showed almost every colour visible in the rainbow!

Designed, carved, assembled and oiled with ZERO precision engineering. No two tools will ever be the same (we've tried!) every tool comes with its own provenance story so making can take 10 days.

Due to the age and richness of 100 year old wood, clayTools weather beautifully. The low maintenance finish gives an insight into the world it once saw. Like all tools, dry and wipe after use and re-oil as desired.
